How To Use
-install WinFlasher  and save it inside the folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher\
-unzip NaviFirm
Using Navifirm Plus to download Nokia Firmware

Extract the contents of the zip file in your computer (Windows XP/7/8 or later)

There is no need to install Navifirm+ in Windows, just go to the extracted folder and open the file named “NavifirmPlus” (computer must be connected to internet)

Navifirm will check for the internet connection and an “Account Setup” window will pop up

Click “Cancel” button and Navifirm will open as seen in the screenshot below (or you can donate a minimum 3 Euro to get a full-function account)

Now you have a free NavifirmPlus working with certain restrictions –
You can download only the latest available software for a product code (and not the older ones)

After a while Navifirm Plus will load the product code info (in products, releases, variants panes) and the software files (in the last pane)

All set! Now click “Download” button – Navifirm Plus will start downloading the files – wait for the process to compete (downloading time will depend upon the phone model and your internet connection speed).

INSTALLATION FLASHER
================
7.Backup all your mobile data.
8.Rename N9 flashware files as emmc.bin and main.bin
9.Install flasher on your windows C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
10.Copy all N9 flashware files including emmc.bin & main.bin in C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
11.connect mobile with computer and open CMD (command prompt) in windows as administrator
12.type cd C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
13.type flasher –i (your mobile will restart)
14.flash you firmware with this command flasher -f -F main.bin --erase-user-data=secure -F emmc.bin --erase-mmc=secure
or

flasher -f -F main.bin --erase-user-data=secure --erase-mmc=secure

(note)
rename
DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_009-OEM1-958_ARM11.bin to main.bin
 
15.after 10 15 minutes the phone should proceed to flash normally and In your phone enable developer mode –settings-security-developer mode , Phone will bootup again and type disclaimer-cal remove View-openmode


INSTALLATION OPENMODE KERNEL

16.put openmode kernel file in directory C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
17.Now in cmd flasher window type flasher -a main.bin -k zImage_2.6.32.54-openmode_l2fix --flash-only=kernel -f –R
18.The phone should proceed to flash normally.
INSTALLATION MOSLO KERNEL

19.Now copy Moslo Kernel files in directory C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
20.And run this command flasher -k zImage-moslo -n initrd-moslo -l -b , Again phone will restart and some green color coding will run on mobile
21.Once it complete disconnect the phone and restart mobile normally
INSTALLATION UBIBOOT
================
22.Now extract and copy all Ubiboot files in directory C:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher
23.Also copy these ubiboot files in your N9 MyDocs folder
24.Go to terminal in your mobile and type
devel-su
cd /home/user/MyDocs/
tar -xvf ubiboot_035_sailfishos.tar -C /
25.Now in computer flasher window type this command
flasher -a main.bin -k zImage_2.6.32.54-ubiboot-02_301013 --flash-only=kernel -f –R
26. phone should proceed to flash normally
INSTALLATION SAILFISH
================
27.Rename sailfish image file as sailfish.tar.bz2
28.Copy this sailfish.tar.bz2 file in your mobile MyDocs
29.Open Terminal in mobile and type
devel-su
rootme
cd /home/user/MyDocs/
mkdir /sailfish
mount /dev/mmcblk0p4 /sailfish
tar --numeric-owner -xvjf sailfish.tar.bz2 -C /sailfish/
sync
